Removable dentures

Removable dentures represent temporary or definitive treatment of the patient. They are supposed to replace missing teeth and allow rehabilitation of the patient in functional, aesthetic and psychological terms. They represent replacements for missing teeth if the teeth can not be replaced by fixed bridges or dental implants. Removable dental replacements are usually a cheaper solution, so they are also approached for financial reasons. A typical situation where the missing teeth can not be replaced by a fixed bridge is the loss of the back teeth. This creates a gap that is not bordered on both sides by firm teeth.

  • Partial Dentures

Partial dentures can replace a number of missing teeth. Usually they are made of metal or lightweight, gum-colored resin, and artificial teeth. Your natural teeth will provide an anchor for your partial dentures and hold them in place.Since your partial denture will be part of your existing smile, we will closely match your denture teeth to your remaining natural teeth, so your smile looks seamless.Your partial denture relies on the health of your remaining teeth, so good oral hygiene is important, as with all dentistry.Since your body changes over time, you may find that your partial denture needs a periodic adjustment to keep it fitting properly.

  • Complete Dentures

If you are missing all of your teeth on your upper or lower arch, you probably need complete dentures. Complete dentures should fit well in order to function properly. To start, we will take dental impressions so after that  dentists can begin the design process. Once dentist designs your dentures, our trusted dental lab will create them. The dentist  will perform a fitting to make sure they feel comfortable and follow up with a re-check to make sure that they continue to function well and feel great. Once you have your complete dentures, it is still important to maintain regular dental exams so that we can check your dentures for damage and perform life-saving oral cancer screenings.
